Composite armature (FRP-rebar) - the alternative reinforsement for infrastructure objects

Production partners of DGL produce FRP-rebars of two types: 1. FRP-rebars a plain surface, nominal diameters equal 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm, Figure 1, intended for production of grids and meshes 2. FRP-rebars with ribbed surface, nominal diameters equal 8 ... 32 mm, Figure 2, intended for usual application to reinforce of concrete matrix and other applications

Coefficient of elasticity of composite armature differs from steel

coefficient of elasticity: Steel – 195 GPa
Fiberglass plastic – 50-65 GPa
Basalt fiber plastic – 45-50 GPa
Carbon fiber plastic – 150-300 GPa

Elasticity of composite armature provides long-term service of concrete slabs and beams on the distributed base

It is impossible to bend FRP-armature on the worksite

Manufacturer supplies shaped elements for all diameters
